NH Senate Finance Public Hearing (HB1)

The Senate plans to hold its public hearing on the budget with remote testimony on Tuesday, May 4. It is critically important to find ways to ensure the developmental services budget is fully funded.

How you can help: Two Quick Action Steps for Tuesday’s Hearing

1 - Sign in to Senate website to indicate your support for the Developmental Services budget before 8:00am on 5/4/2021:
* Visit the NH general court website (click here).
* Click on the date of May 4th.
* Select Senate Finance Committee.
* Select HB 1 at either 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.
* I am: a member of the public.
* I’m representing: Families in Developmental Services.
* Click "I support this bill"
* Continue.

2 - Email written testimony to the Division III Finance Committee:
* Subject line of email: Fully Fund Developmental Services.

* Keep the testimony short!
* Include talking points of fully funding developmental services budget and supporting the direct support workforce.
