What We Do

Monadnock Developmental Services provides support to people with disabilities who want to live, work, go to school, and recreate in their community. We know that everyone has something unique and important to contribute to society regardless of age or ability. And we know everyone makes their best contributions when they feel valued and respected.

That's why all the supports and services we provide are individually tailored to the specific needs of each person who requests assistance. We work closely with people who have disabilities, their families, their close friends, and an extended network of service providers and programs to make sure people get what they need. In so doing, we strive toward inclusion and the self-determination of everyone.

Children's Service Coordination - works with families to determine the best combination of supports for children up to age 21. Includes Partners in Health, and information and referral.
Adult Service Coordination - works with individuals over age 21 to identify and implement the support they need to live in their community.
Specialty Services - provides intake, respite, Early Supports and Services, Nursing, and the Personal Care Services Program.
Adult Individual Services - provides direct support to people so they can live in their home, go to work, and participate as valued community members.
Children's Individual Services - provides direct support to children in order to participate with peers at home, at school, and at play.
Community Associations - Find out about organizations of interest in your neighborhood.
LifeArt - a community resource center for meetings and activities open to everyone in downtown Keene.

Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope

PATH is a powerful tool used in the person-centered planning and community development process. It is colorful, engaging, and positively oriented. PATH helps people identify their dreams and how those dreams can be achieved. A PATH is completed by an individual, their team, and a trained facilitator and can also be used by families, schools, organizations, and communities.

This creative planning tool is future-focused and grounded in achieving results. It is excellent for team building, negotiating, and any process where change is the desired outcome.
