Seeking Solutions to the Funding Gap for Developmental, Mental Health and Other HHS Services in New Hampshire
As the state of New Hampshire looks for ways to address funding shortfalls for human services, some have suggested that money could be saved by combining the services for people with developmental disabilities and people with mental health issues. Though there is some overlap in the services for mental health and developmental disabilities, does it make sense to combine services? How much money could be saved? Are there other human service systems that could save more money?
The presentation Solutions for the Funding Gap answers these questions and lays out a plan that is designed to improve services while lowering costs. It was written by a committee of Board Members of both Monadnock Developmental Services and Monadnock Family Services.
