Our Training Philosophy
The goal of the Training and Education department at Monadnock Developmental Services is to provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable us to become a continuous learning and teaching organization.
We believe that learning occurs through a process of action, reflection, and experimentation. For that reason, all our workshops and training events are designed to offer a variety of ways to learn. We combine lectures, reading materials, discussions, role-plays, simulations, games, and an element of serendipity to create an inviting and stimulating learning environment. Participants make connections, discover, invent, and then apply what they learn to their work. The result is an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Calendar or the Catalogue to find out how you can join an event in the near
future. Or click on Resources to learn about ways you can apply our teaching
strategies to your work challenges.
