Evening at Peterborough Players to Benefit MDS
Posted by: karencp on Jul 02, 2010
Monadnock Developmental Services joins the Peterborough Players for a benefit preview showing of Moliere’s classic comedy Tartuffe on Tuesday, August 3. A pre-show starts at 6:45 p.m. and will include refreshments and food from First Course. The show starts at 8:00 p.m.
“We’re really looking forward to working with the Players again,” says Karen Peterson, Development Coordinator for MDS. “This new translation and adaptation by Gus Kaikkonen puts a whole new spin on Moliere’s houseguest from hell, and I can’t wait to see the result on stage.”
Alan Greene, MDS Executive Director agrees: “The best thing about an event like this is that both MDS and the Players benefit, and those who attend will sample delicious food from First Course and see a very funny show.”
This special fundraising event is underwritten by People’s United Bank. Tickets are $25 per person. Download a flyer/order form, call 603-352-1304 ext 224 or email development@mds-nh.org for tickets and more information.
