MDS Early Supports and Services Program working with children birth to 3 years of age is seeking to fill the following full time positions:

Speech Language Pathologist needed to evaluate and treat children with language, speech, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency problems. Develop and implement IFSP. Successful candidate must possess a Masters Degree in the field of Speech Pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Hearing Association with 3 years experience working with young children. And licensed to practice in NH.

Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, prepare and carry out individually IFSP. for children with a developmental delay.  PT’s are responsible to use a variety of treatments to help build strength, improve movement, and strengthen skills needed to complete daily activities. Successful candidate must possess a Master Degree in the field of Physical Therapy and licensed to practice inNew Hampshire.

Occupational Therapist required to address the functional needs of a child with a developmental delay through evaluation and in collaboration with families per the IFSP. Assess and treat fine and gross motor skills, posture, muscle tone and balance, body movement, eye-hand coordination, etc.Candidate must possess a Masters Degree in the field of Occupational Therapy and licensed to practice inNew Hampshire.

Child Development Specialist to evaluate a child’s mental and physical development and puts programs in place to enhance a child’s ability to develop properly cognitively, socially and with their language and motor development skills. He/she will work closely with parents of a child with a developmental delay providing support and services.  Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a certification in early childhood education through the department of education with a minimum of three years experience working with young children.

MDS is seeking applicants who can use discretion and independent judgment to deliver quality care to persons with a developmental disability or acquired brain disorder. Enjoy a variety of responsibilities – reading, games, shopping, and other community activities – to enrich a person's life in a meaningful way. Successful applicants must be team players and have the ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Companions also needed throughout the Monadnock Region in areas such as Swanzey, Rindge, Peterborough, Antrim and Hinsdale. Being a companion is a great way to live rent-free in exchange for weekday overnight support (five nights). This leaves your days and weekends free to pursue your own interests. We have a few area artists who have enjoyed this lifestyle as well!

Home Providers are always encouraged to apply. These are subcontracted positions. There are many individuals who are just waiting for you to share your home and heart! Many of them lead active, full lives that encompass having their own support staff and their own jobs. Our individuals look forward to enjoying family and social events with you.

Respite Providers are needed throughout the Monadnock Region. There are a variety of opportunities available. These can range from overnights provided in your home to overnights in their homes.
